mortal realm, and their actions have shaped the fates of many lands. Alas, the
High Elves are now passing into twilight, their works and deeds dying alongside
them. The empire of the Phoenix Kings, which once ruled entire continents, is
now confined to the kingdoms of Ulthuan and scattered overseas outposts. Alabaster
cities that once bustled with vibrancy are now naught but empty echoes of a
bygone age, and lands that knew nothing but beauty and nobility now reek with
